PageRank Display
This extension gets the PageRank of the page open in the current tab. If it fails it tries getting the PR of the hostname instead, and if that succeeds it shows the PR followed by the letter h. If neither succeeds (if the site doesn’t have a PR or for some reason the extension isn’t working as it should) it will show a question mark.
Features:
Doesn’t use a lot of toolstrip space (4-6 characters max, 6 being very rare).
Gets the PR pretty fast.
Gets the rank on tab switch as well as tab update (changing page in the current tab)
If it can’t get the PR of the current page it gets for the hostname and indicates it with an h.

Another change in extensions system.
Extensions
Two breaking changes (see mailing list post for more information):
[r24816] Enforce granular permissions
[r24770] Modified several APIs to be more consistent
All of them have to be repackaged.

The URL is actually http://nemrod.se/chrome-extensions/pagerank-display. Probably better to link directly to the Chrome Extensions gallery page for PageRank Display though.
